The Next Morning

Gloria had to wake her up for her appointment. She had made one for her last night. It was a doctor that Snake used, so he was available. She tried waking Genesis up, and she was hard to wake up. The baby had her sleeping very good.

She finally got up and dressed to leave. When they arrived, he saw her right away. She was Snake’s woman, so; he didn’t want to keep her waiting. He confirmed the pregnancy test results. Then he told her how far along she was.

Genesis was two months along. And she knew that an abortion needed to happen soon. She asked him about getting the procedure done. Of course, he asked her if she was sure. She shook her head, yes, and he scheduled her a time to come in.

The driver drove her back to the vacation home. He had her out at the beach. She hadn’t made time to go lay on the beach. When they got back, she went to change into a bathing suit. Genesis grabbed a towel and walked toward the water.

She found a place and laid on the sand. She people watched some and read some. Before she knew it, she had dozed off. Her cellphone rang, waking her up out her restful slumber. When she answered it, it was Meeko calling.

Genesis was so happy to hear her voice. She could hear the baby in the background. That put a smile on her face. They talked for a while before hanging up. She made sure to tell Meeko where she was.

Genesis asked her to come stay the weekend with her. She offered to send the driver after them. It was starting to get dark. She had to get back before they call and report her missing. When she walked in, Gloria rushed over to her.

“Miss, the boss, has been calling you, and he said that you’re not picking up.”

“When did he call me?”

Genesis looked down at her phone. She hadn’t even noticed that she had missed calls.

“He said that he was on his way…go get cleaned up, ma’am.”

She rushed her off, so she could bathe. That kind of pissed her off, though. Why the fuck did she have to go get cleaned up? She wasn’t his damn child. Gloria ran her a bubble bath then left the room.

The water looked inviting and relaxing. That was the only reason why she took the bath. But when she got out and dried off, she laid in the bed naked. She wasn’t worried about looking sexy for him. Her ass dosed off again, waiting for him to show up.

“Wake up, Genesis…”

She felt someone shaking her. When her eyes opened, they landed on Snake. He was sitting on the side of the bed. The look in his eyes were unreadable. Genesis sat up then grabbed a pillow and placed it between her legs.

“Lucky pillow…”

“What are you doing here?”

“After I called you three times and you didn’t answer, I hit the road. I thought something bad happened to you.
